Ella has gone back to school and the new craze among her friends is... sleepovers! Ella has been doing this for ages, with Georgia in particular, but many of her friends have not, and have been having friends round to stay for the first time. Ella seems to be a popular choice of guest, no doubt because she has been telling everyone of her sleepover expertise, knowledge of midnight feasts, and so on. Ella likes to take her mobile phone so she can document each sleepover properly (though its memory has quickly filled up with all that video). As well as school, Ella is back in her usual routine: going to Brownies, going to dance, practising for her piano exam and so on. She has started watching "Time Team" with Mummy and Daddy on Sundays, which is right up her street. She likes doing the brainteasers in the children's section of the newspaper. And after a school trip to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" she is obsessed with listening to the soundtrack and singing along.
